The range of artificial grass

2023/06/08 14:12:48
The range of artificial grass can vary depending on several factors, including the purpose of its use, the manufacturer, and the specific product line. Artificial grass is commonly used in residential lawns, sports fields, playgrounds, and commercial landscapes.

In terms of pile height, which refers to the length of the individual grass blades, artificial grass ranges from very short to longer lengths.

Shorter pile heights, typically between 10 to 25 millimeters (0.4 to 1 inch), are often used for decorative purposes or in areas where the grass will receive light foot traffic.

Medium pile heights, ranging from 25 to 40 millimeters (1 to 1.6 inches), are common for residential lawns and some sports fields. Longer pile heights, generally 40 millimeters (1.6 inches) or more, are usually found in sports fields where the grass needs to provide cushioning and replicate natural turf.

Artificial grass is also available in various colors, typically shades of green, to mimic the appearance of natural grass. Some products may also incorporate brown or yellow strands to imitate dead or dormant grass for added realism.

Additionally, different types of artificial grass can vary in terms of their material composition, durability, and drainage capabilities. Some products may have a more natural look and feel, while others are specifically designed for high-traffic areas or specific sports.

It's important to consult with manufacturers or suppliers to understand the specific range of artificial grass options available and select the most suitable one for your intended use.
